HONOLULU STORE OPEN POSITIONS
| POSITION: | Okazuya / Delicatessen Manager |

| RESPONSIBILITIES: | Manages the operations of our Kaheka Okazuya / Delicatessen. This encompasses all sections – Sushi, Hot Lines, Bento, and our Wagyu Kushi concession outside. Supervises and directs the work of the dept. staff, which includes scheduling, providing on-the-job training, directing work, assigning tasks, communicating & enforcing rules/proper procedures, and ensuring they work safely, complying with required food handling and sanitation standards. Responsible for achieving the dept.’s Sales & Gross Profit goals and maintaining proper inventory levels in conjunction with Store Management and Product Strategy promotional & merchandising plans. Manages food cost and labor. Ensure that dept. supplies are properly & timely ordered, checked-in, and stored. Completes and turns in required reports and paperwork. Responsible for the proper housekeeping of the dept. equipment, shelves, refrigerated cases, Freezers, and floors. May be assigned other store related duties. |
| EXPERIENCE: | Minimum of two (2) year experience as a Section Leader in a delicatessen or kitchen is preferred or equivalent supervising clerks, occasionally taking on the responsibility running the dept. |
| KNOWLEDGE: | Operate Delicatessen kitchen equipment: Ranges and ovens and more in the production of the prepared foods as well as cash register. |
| ABILITIES: |

| PHYSICAL REQ: |
- Lift 50 lbs. and Push/pull 200 lbs. using pallet jacks and carts with medium effor - Work without sitting for two (2) to three (3) hours at a time. - Constant use of hands and arms. - Moderate amounts of bending, stooping, squatting, climbing and reaching above shoulders. - Some exposure to warm and cold temperatures. |
| SCHEDULE: | Available to work any day and any time during operating hours of the store. |
| COMPENSATION: | Hourly Wage or Monthly Salary (To be discussed). |
Transfer Truck Driver: Maintenance
- Drive Store to Store Transfer pick up and deliveries utilizing the DQ Transfer Truck
- General upkeep and maintenance of truck
- Additional responsibilities including general maintenance and cleaning of the store
- Retrieval and maintenance of shopping carts
- Requires moderate to heavy lifting
- Driver's License required, with a clean 5-year abstract.
- Available M-F 7:00am to 6:00pm
Cashier
- Must have six (6) months Cashier experience and Good Customer Service Skills.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Able to stand for long periods.
- Various Shifts Available.
Security Guard
- Either currently Registered as Security Guard w/ the Board of Private Detective & Guards or able to meet the
qualifications to do so.
- Able to read and write English.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 35lbs. with medium effort.
- Able to work between the hours of 7am to 4pm or 2:30pm to 11pm; 32 to 40 hours per week.
Fish Cutters
- Experience Cutting and Packing Fish for Retail Sales.
- Working in cold temperatures.
Overnight Stock Clerk
- Able to merchandise/display products on the sales floor.
- Assist Customers.
- Product knowledge helpful but will train.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. with medium effort.
- Push/Pull 200 lbs. using pallet jacks and carts.
- Work without sitting for two (2) to three (3) hours at a time.
- Moderate amounts of bending, stooping, squatting, climbing and reaching above shoulders.
- Available to work 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m..
Food Service Counter Clerk
- Six (6) months experience working in food service prepping and wrapping food product is helpful.
We will train if necessary.
- Requires heavy lifting and pulling.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Produce Clerk
- Experienced Preferred.
- Requires heavy lifting and pulling.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Baker
- Prepares and bakes a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods in a retail bakery.
- One (1) year experience prepping and/or baking in a Scratch Bakery is helpful.
- Quick and orderly worker with good customer service skills.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. with medium effort & push/pull 200 lbs. using pallet jacks or carts.
- Able to work a shift between 4:30 am to 7:00 p.m.
General Merchandising Clerk
- Stock and organize merchandise on shelves, backroom and overheads.
- Builds displays.
- Assist Customers.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
